early bird registration

Early bird registration for the Waxahachie YMCA’s winter basketball league ends Friday, Dec 4. Teams for children in grades kindergarten through ninth grade. Early bird pricing is as follows: Member Plus $20, Member $70 and Non-Member $95. Regular registration will be Saturday, Dec. 5, through Friday, Dec. 11. Annual Turkey Trot

The Dallas YMCA is offering in-person and virtual options with its 53rd annual Turkey Trot, a tradition that takes place Thanksgiving Day morning Thursday, Nov. 26. Participants can choose to run or walk the race in-person, or virtually from their neighborhood or anywhere across the country. All participants receive the official 2020 Turkey Trot long sleeved T-shirt and a link to enter self-timed results from an 8-mile or 5K run to “compete” with other virtual Trot participants.
