With the new month upon us, the Waxahachie Chamber is excited to relaunch its program of networking events, starting off with this week’s Speed Lead Luncheon on Thursday, July 2, at noon for chamber members. If you would like to join the chamber in order to attend this networking event, including a free meal, you can apply for chamber membership at waxahachiechamber.com!

Next week! You are invited to the Hachie Home & Real Estate Fair on July 9 from 4-6 p.m. from at the Waxahachie Civic Center – featuring the best of Waxahachie Chamber members in home financing, title companies, real estate, home beautification, home-owners insurance and more! The event is open to the public for $5 at the door. Mark your calendars to be there!

In addition, you are invited to the Ellis County Marketplace exposition, which will be held on July 25 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Ellis County Expo Center. This event is open to the public for $5 at the door and $5 to participate in the Taste of Ellis County. Four Ellis County chambers have come together to collaborate for this event and bring a wide spread of local businesses to you. The event will include a kids’ fun zone and tons of fun booths and activities, including an entertainment stage. Mark your calendars to be there!

Port Horizon Thrift

With a tremendous audience of well over 20,000 between their membership and online following, the Waxahachie Chamber is one of the most influential community leaders making a difference for local business in Ellis County and beyond.

One of the chamber’s Green Coat Ambassadors, Jamey Nixon, speaks of her experience with Brookdale Senior Living and the Chamber:

“Although Brookdale Senior Living has been around Ellis County for 25-plus years, my career began with Brookdale five years ago. Working in senior living is my passion because helping seniors experience a better quality of life is why I love what I do. Going through the stages of aging with family members of my own, I saw firsthand the help and education families needed. Being part of the chamber gives members a sense of community and connection to serving others. Thankful for all of the relationships I have gained through the Waxahachie Chamber!”
