Charlotte Annette Monreal, 59, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2020, in Ennis, Texas.

Charlotte was born on Feb. 6, 1961, in Waxahachie, Texas, to Clyde Edward and Willie Jean (Ruffin) Mullinax. She grew up in Waxahachie and graduated from Waxahachie High School in 1979. On April 28, 1980, she married the love of her life, Jon Paul Monreal, and they made their homes in Waxahachie, then to Dallas, and finally to Ennis in 1984.

Charlotte worked for AT&T for 32 years as an area manager, retiring in 2012. She was a member of the Church of God. Charlotte enjoyed crafts, gardening and sports including the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. Her family was the light of her life.

Charlotte is survived by her husband of almost 40 years, Jon Paul Monreal; son, Zachary Monreal and fiancé, Lindsay Epperson; three sisters, Lynn Rudd, Kim Smithwick and Carol Norcross; along with a host of extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
