FirstLook has announced a series of local “Coffee Talk” events across Ellis County to share new plans for the organization heading into 2020.

The three-day tour will begin Tuesday, Nov. 19 in Waxahachie, continue in Midlothian on the 20th and conclude in Ennis on the 21st.

Community members will get an exclusive “first look” at the nonprofit’s new rebranding effort, learn details about the upcoming expansion into a new center and hear how FirstLook plans to serve more clients and grow its program offerings.

“The focus of the nonprofit organization’s new 9,000 square foot center will be providing guidance, support and compassion while also educating, counseling and ministering to each client we serve,” a spokesman said.

These events are open to the public and coffee and pastries will be provided. Guests will take home a limited-edition coffee tumbler as a special thank you from FirstLook and also be entered to win fun prizes at each event.

“FirstLook is a sexual health and pregnancy center with a mission of leading Ellis County to embrace life by promoting best sexual health practices and providing family support in the name of Jesus Christ,” the spokesman said. “More than just a medical clinic, FirstLook is focused on holistic care for every client by offering educational programs, counseling, and support groups. Centered around a philosophy of faith, love, and understanding, FirstLook is changing lives one client at a time.”
