On the eve of the 20th anniversary of 9/11, Scott Brooks sits down for part one of a discussion with Tom Connally of Waxahachie to discuss one of America's darkest days. Tom is a retired lt. colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps and was inside the Pentagon on that fateful Tuesday 20 years ago. Compelling and extraordinary, Tom's perspective sheds light on the sights and sounds of what was otherwise a beautiful fall day in the nation's capital. You'll hear Tom's account of what happened immediately after the attack and throughout the day. Part two of Tom's story will air at noon Friday, Sept. 24.

Sun Spot airs every Friday at noon on www.waxahachiesun.com, the Sun's Youtube channel and via our Facebook page. We hope you get the chance to watch!
