On this week's Sun Spot podcast, Scott Brooks sits down with council member and former mayor of Waxahachie, David Hill, to discuss a number of city-related matters. Prior to city talk, however, the two take a few minutes to discuss the former mayor's personal experience with COVID-19 - an experience that came as a big surprise and significant concern.

With respect to the city, Hill and Brooks dig deeper into the new City Hall Annex being built downtown; a new development, Dominion Park, to be built on Ovilla Road; a brief update on last weekend's Texas Country Reporter Festival; and the council's recent vote to limit public comments at council meetings to five minutes - a decision that has some folks a bit upset.

Sun Spot airs every Friday at noon on the Sun's Youtube channel. We hope you can join us!
