Waxahachie’s Old-Fashioned Singing Project is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the preservation, presentation and enjoyment of historical congregational singing, especially in the American southern states in the first half of the 20th century, through research, performance, lectures workshops, publications and recordings.

The group will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, May 17, and at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at the Chautauqua Auditorium in Getzendaner Park. (The shows are identical.) All tickets are $12 and are available at the door or online at http://www.waxaofs.com.
