The Reservation (student culinary restaurant) at Waxahachie High School opens its spring semester session from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, with student chef Benjamin Castillo menu to include smoked sliced brisket with a cherry barbecue sauce, fried Brussels sprouts with thyme, lemon and chili flakes and crispy corn fritters. Dessert is a traditional peach cobbler. The cost is $13 all-inclusive. No reservation needed; walk-ins are welcome. Enter through the CTE wing’s doors.
