New members of the Waxahachie Chamber, CED Waxahachie, shared that their store front is one of the 700 of its kind nationwide and is located around 45 miles south of headquarters in Irving. With their ribbon cutting approaching, owner Joseph Fink was open to answering a few questions regarding the business:

When did you start your business in Ellis County?

We started looking for customers in January of 2019 and opened our doors for business that December.

Why did you choose to open your business in Ellis County?

There's obviously been growth here for a while and it's only going to continue (at a faster pace as time goes by too). We love the atmosphere and people south of the Metroplex!

What is your favorite part about what you do?

Every individual and business needs electrical supplies, whether it’s lighting, tools or plugs and switches. Everyone is a potential customer and we get to see our handiwork installed around the area.

What do you love most about the Waxahachie Chamber?

The Waxahachie Chamber is eager to support its members and encourages networking and community exposure. The chamber team is friendly and easy to work with.

The ribbon cutting event will feature their new shop, which is open to the public, and key manufacturers with the latest products. Food and drinks will be served from 4-6 pm. There will be giveaways, samples and an honoring of our veterans.
