With a tremendous audience of well over 20,000 between their membership and online following, the Waxahachie Chamber is one of the most influential community leaders making a difference for local business in Ellis County and beyond.

Here’s a story on one of the Waxahachie Chamber members:

Chamber member Jon Garrett started Lone Star Events in 2015, having lived in Ellis County since 2004. With the growth of our community over the past 10 years, Garrett noticed an immediate need for a local party and event rental company.

Garrett mentioned that he finds continuous inspiration from the creative aspect of event rentals, with the unique opportunity to work with a blank canvas to create events that are meaningful for the community. Transforming an empty space into a memorable experience is what keeps Garrett and his team engaged every day!

Garrett says about the chamber, “The Waxahachie Chamber has been a great asset in helping us promote our business to the community, as well as offering various ways to train staff and improve as community leaders. I’ve always believed the foundation of any business is only as strong as its network and the chamber offers us an opportunity to set a solid local foundation.”
