Christmas time is just around the corner but sooner than that are several opportunities to network with the thriving business community found in the Waxahachie Chamber!

One of the primary strengths of the Waxahachie Chamber is building community and creating an environment for authentic relationships to take place in order to promote healthy business in Ellis County.

While it may not be on the top of everyone’s to do list to attend the nearest networking function, here are a few reasons it is important and even life-changing to prioritize putting some networking events on your calendar:

• Networking helps prospective employees land a job sooner, as well as help searching businesses find their ideal employee or partner sooner.

• Networking gives a “cutting edge” to your business and or personal brand in your community.

• Networking creates opportunity for building relationships, both professional and personal, in a way that allows businesses to grow and thrive.

• Networking helps one stay “in the know” on the latest trends and developments that might affect business in the community.

• Networking provides the ability to hone interpersonal and professional skill sets, which directly influence the success of business.

• Networking gives access to the resources that further develop expertise and soft skill sets.

• Networking increases visibility and enhances the opportunities of becoming a “go-to” professional.

Because the Waxahachie Chamber understands the importance of networking to grow your business, they have created multiple ways in which even the most inexperienced networker can be successful:

MONTHLY EVENTS

Speed Lead Luncheons (1st Thursday / month at 12 p.m., except January):

These 1-hour luncheons are sponsored by one of the chamber’s own members and structured so as to create a comfortable environment for both introverted and extroverted personalities. There is ample opportunity to network with the fellow business owners of Ellis County and receive a delicious complimentary luncheon in the process.

Niche Networking (2nd Thursday / quarter at 4 p.m.):

Off-the-Clocks (4th Thursday / quarter at 4 p.m.):

THIS WEEK

This Thursday, Dec. 19, is the Chamber’s final networking mixer of 2019 and it will be hosted by Copy & Ship Resources from 4-6 p.m.

With so many ways to get plugged in, the Waxahachie Chamber member, Re/Max agents Jim and Tina Ensinia, say:

“The Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce is the best. So many events for small business growth, always encouraging and helpful.”

After being in the business for over 10 years, the Ensinia team have an invested interest in seeing the Waxahachie community flourish. The joy, and even relief, of seeing a family buy a new home that they are ever so excited to be in or the sale of a property that allows them to move on to the next chapter of their lives is what they love most about how they get to serve the area.

Mark your calendars for these other upcoming Chamber events:

OFF THE CLOCK MIXER – Dec. 19 from 4-6 p.m. at Copy & Ship Resources

COFFEE CONNECTIONS – Jan. 9 from 8-9 a.m. at the Chamber

WOMEN’S HEALTH FAIR – Jan. 9 from 4-6 p.m. at the Chamber
