Introduction to Excel

This class is for anyone who wants to learn the fundamentals of Microsoft Excel.  You will learn how to understand spreadsheets, enter data and save workbooks, modify worksheets and workbooks.  You will also be provided with the tools to create and edit charts and graphs, work with formulas and use templates, styles and auto formats.

Advanced Excel Tips and Tricks

In this class we will be working with several advanced capabilities of Excel and will learn some tips and tricks along the way.  We will cover pivot tables, conditional functions, data lookup functions and conditional formatting.  We will review ways to protect and secure spreadsheets and how to write macros to improve your productivity.

Introduction to 3D Printing

Have you wondered what 3D printing is all about?  What would you use a 3D printer to do?  What are the different types of 3D printers?  In this class we will discuss the answers to these questions and more. We will cover things to think about before buying a 3D printer and places to get designs to print (most are free).  We will outline the process you need to follow to print things and touch on the variety of materials used (filaments, filaments, filaments). We will also look at some of the software tools needed to produce unique pieces.

Cooking – Instant Pot Pressure Cooker B

In this fast-paced world we are constantly trying to find ways to save time in the kitchen and still prevent growing waistlines. The electric pressure cooker is the answer to our cry for 'help' by making it possible to create nutritious flavor-packed meals in minutes. Like many others, you may have questions about the electric pressure cooker: “Is it safe?”, “How do I use it?”, “Is it really worth the money?” Electric Pressure Cookers are among the newest lines of kitchen appliances. But, what are they, how do they work, what foods can you cook in one, and are they really safe? We will answer these questions and more as we explore the ins and outs of “instacooking” through this hands on learning class. Healthy taste testing included!

Cooking for Food Allergies – Gluten, Dairy, Nut Free

A food allergy can be life threatening. But having food allergies does not mean you have to sacrifice your love of food! This class will discuss alternatives and substitutes that can be used in various recipes. The focus will be placed on how to enjoy food with gluten, dairy, and nut allergies. Recipe books and recipe demonstrations will be included in this class.

Holiday Putz Christmas House

What is a Putz house? The name for Putz houses evolved from the German word “putzen” which means to clean or to decorate. And the name was acquired by little houses that were placed around the nativity scene for Christmas decorations in the early 1900s. Come bring a friend and enjoy making your own “Putz” for your house, or as a gift. Templates and Supplies will be provided. There is a $5.00 fee paid to the instructor for supplies, which makes 2 houses.

Holiday Gingerbread House

Come bring a friend and make a Gingerbread house and enter a friendly competition.  Some supplies will be provided. Please bring a bag of decorative only candy to share with the group like gum drops, or red hots, peppermints etc. The group will have 2 hours to build the structure out of graham crackers and icing, then decorate the house, take home with you. There will be a small trophy for the best house. $5.00 fee paid to the instructor for supplies.
